ROAD COMPENSATION ACT. PUBLIC NOTICE.

‘ IIEREAS a Commission has been issued, directed to the undersigned, whereby we are Commanded to estimate the

damage or advantage that will accrue to Certain parties through

whose land a NEW ROAD is intended to pass, leadingt'rom Alley’s

Mill, at the head of Cardigan ltiver, to the New Bridge across

said River, on Township No. 53.

Now we do hereby give notice to all the parties concerned, that we will attend at Alleys Mill, on MONDAY, the 17th day of December next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, and proceed thence along the said intended line of road then and there to execute the said commission accurding to law. -

I have levied the said writ on the above recited Townships for the several amounts due thereon, and I do hereby give public notice that I will set up and sell at the Court House in Charlottetown. at Public Auction, on the 6th day of February next, at the hour of 12 o’clock, noon, the above mentioned ‘Township lands, to satisfy the levy marked on the said writ against them, together with 168 8d for the said writ, besides Sheriff’s fees and incidental expenses.

John C. McKeown, Esq., to be an Assessor for Georgetown and Common, in the place of Finlay McNeill, Esq., resigned.

Mr. JOSeph Fairchild, to be: an Assessor for Georgetown and Common. in the place of Mr. John McDonald, deceased—in terms of.the Act above mentioned.
