Mutual Insurance.--Notice

the Royal allowance to the act passed at last Session

of the Legislature entitled dn Act lo Incorporate a Mutual Fire Insurance Company—Notice is hereby riven, that in pursuance of the Eleventh Section thereof, 1 members’ Book will be opened at noon on Monday the Second day of October next, at the Office of the Hon. Charles Young, where the Subscribers, or any three of them, shall receive and take the amount of property in- tended to be Insured by such person or persons as to become Members of the said Company, and also the sum of Fifteen Shillings as a Deposit from each person which Deposit shall be allowed in part payment of the tirst premium of Insurance, and shall be forfeited if the iperson shall neglect or refuse to take out a Policy with-

[TN pursuance of the Act of the General Assembly of

this Island, made and passed in the Eleventh year of the Reign of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria, intituled An Aet for levying further an Assessment on ali Lands in this Colony, und for the encouragement of Education.’ I do hereby publicly notify the Owners or Occupiers of Land within this Island, for which the Annual Assess- ment charged thereon by the said recited Act of Five Shillings, lawful money ofthis Island, for every Hun- dred acres of wilderness or unimproved Lands contained in the several Townships and the several Islands be- longing thereto, and the sum of Two Shillings and Six- pence for every Hundred acres of cultivated or im- proved Lands in the said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid ; and the sum of FourShillings for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot, Pasture Lot, Common Lot and Water Lot, granted in the Town and Royalty of Charlottetown, and the sum ef Two Shillings and Sixpence for each and every cultivated or improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the said Town, and the sum of Two Shillings for each and every culti- vated or improved Pasture Lot and Common Lot as aforesaid, and the sum of Two Shillings and Eightpence for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot, Pasture Lot and Water Lot, granted in the Towns and Royalties of Georgetown and Princetown, and the sum of One Shilling and Fourpence for each and every cultivated or improved Town Lot, Pasture Lot, and Water Lot, granted in the said last mentioned Towns and Royalties, and so in proportion for a less quantity ; and the sum of One penny peracre on each and every acre of cultivated or improved Land in the Royalty of Georgetown called Reserved Lands; and the sum of ‘I'wo-pence per acre on each and every acre of such Lands as may be deemed uncultivated or unimproved Lands, is payable, that unless the Assessment for the current year be paid into my hands, or the hands of my Deputies, on or before the Nineteenth day of Decem- BER next, I shall proceed against all such Lands as shall then be in arrear for non-payment of the sums charged thereon, agreeably to the directions of the be- fore recited Act.
