The latest news from South Africa contirms the report received last week, that the Rev. Robert Moffatt is dead. The first report stated the celebrated missionary had been murdered by the savages among whom he had been labor- ing. The present advices do not make it clear or whether he died a natural death. The latter is probably the case,

as Mr. Moffatt was over 80 years of

age. Deceased was father-in-law to Dr. Livingstone, and had translated the Psalms aud theentire New Testament into the language of the Beehuanas, among whom, he had resided for many years.
