“THERE was removed by death, last week, ene of the oldest proprictors in the Highlands, the venerable Dr. Nicol Martin, of Glendale. Dr. Martin had attained the -age of 85 years. He was the descendant of an old Highland family which had long resided in the Leland of Skye.”—Scottish American Journal.
