Stewart: “Dear Sirs,-—In answer to yours of Sat- urday evening, enclosing Tuk ExamiNer’s article on your tug, I wish in justice to say that the tug T. A. Stewart is now keeping the dredge clear, and we have lost no time waiting for scows. The dredge of late has only been able to work tide work, aod therefore our hours were short and no comparison can be made as yet between the two tugs. “The statement that ‘a scow worth $800 is rendered almost useless throngh a col- lision with the tug’ is incorrect, as the scow was repaired in a few hours by two of our men and is as good as formerly.
