Jul. 4 - Organized in a similar manner to the Christmas Bird Counts, the International Butterfly COunt Day also utilizes 24 km diameter circles. Garden watchers can cover their backyard or you can choose your circle and start counting. The reports are amalgamated and sent to the North American Butterfly Association.
