The sun rose to set diamonds aglitterlng on a lovely Winter landscape this morning, and once more 1 found a charm in the white trails, that wound here and there about. the yards. James and. I grumbled a bit to each other about the strangeness of “having to piod through this new snow" at our choring, and came in from it fresh and hungry to our breakfast. It. was in a fine new world, we "lived and moved" today. ‘Ihe old scenes were gone, hidden from us or enhanced by the recent fall of snow. Not that there was any depth of it, but sleighs replaced wagons and farm carts on the roads and about the farms.
