QUEBEC (CP) — Prime Min- ister Diefenbaker said Saturday everyone must co-operate if Can- ada is to have true national unity. Mr. Diefenbaker made two speeches’ during a brief visit to Quebec to inaugurate a new $6,000,000 maritime terminal. The prime minister stressed unity in an address to the cham- ber of commerce. He spoke in English , after a few opening words in French.

A true Canadian unity cannot be built without the help of all citizens, he said. Quebec, like every other province, was work- ing to realise the promises of Confederation.
