(a) Has resided in Prince. Edward Island for at least 12 months and in the Electoral District in which he seeks to vote at least 2 months, im- mediately preceding the 3rd-.day of August, 1959; or

(b) Is, or is the husband or wife of, the holder of a freehold estate for his own use and benefit or is, or is the husband or wife of, a person who is in the bona fide use and occupation or actual possession. for his own use and benefit, of any dwelling-house, warehouse, shop or other building, or any.farm or piece of land within the district in ‘which he seeks to vote, of the value of at least $100.00;’ provided that every person claiming to vote under either of the property qualifications

of the Election Act. _ :
