(St. John Gazette.) The rules of the I. C , in regard to| the carrying of corpses, do not seem to be generally known. The Charlottetown Ex AMINER, in speaking of the case of Miss Uarrie Aitken, of BP. E. Island, who died recently in Boston of typhvuid fever, said : ‘Her friends in Boston decided upon bringing her remains home for reine and after getting as far as St. John the authorities refused to all»w the body to be taken further, and ordered it tuo be sent, back to Boston on account of the nature of the disease of wh:ch she died.” As this case has excited some comment, a Gazette reporter made enquiries of Sta- tion Master Robertson about it. Frozex to Deraru.—Medicine Lodge, Kan., advices of the 4th are as follows - Two brothers named Bell, aged 22 and 9 years, and a sister 19 yeare old, attended a meeting near there Wednesday night, and a blizzard arvse as they started for home. Waea 200 yards from home they drifted south about « quarter of a mile and took refuge in acanyon, where they were soon covered by snow. Thursday morning the elder brother crawled out of the snow and attempted to get home. He was soon frozen. The younger brother froze to death later.
