For all people, in sickness or in health.lemonade is a safe drink. It cor rects biliousness: it is a specitic against worm and skin complaints. The pip-} pins, crushed, may also be mixed with water and sugar, and usedas a drink. | Lemon-juice is the best anti-scorbutic remedy known ;it not only cures the disease, but prevents it. Sailors make adaily use of itfor this purpose. A physician suggests rubbing of the gums daily with lemoa-juice to keep them in health. The hands and nails are also kept clean, White, soft, and supple by daily use of lemou instead of soap. It also prevents chilblains. Lemon, used in intermitten fever,is mixed with strong bot black tea or cotfee, without sugar. Neuralgia may be cured by rubbing the part affected with lemon. It is valu- able, also, to cure warts andto destroy dandruff on the head, by rubbing the roots of the hair with it. lo tact, its uses are manifold ; and the more we ap- ply it externally, the better we shall find ourselves.

( N and after Tuesday, May 13th, the new steamer *‘Heather Belle,’ Hugh McLean,

master, will run as follows :—

Every Tuesday morning, at four o'clock, will leave Charlottetown for Orwell Brush Wharti; leaving Orwell Brush Wharf at seven a. m., fur Charlottetown, calling at Chipa Point and Hailiday’s Wharves; leaving Charlottetown, at three p, ™., for Haliday’s, China toint and Brash Wharves, where she will remain over night.

Wednesday, will leave Brush W harf for Char- lottetown at seven a. m., calling at (hina Point and Halliday’s W harves; leaving Charlottetown at three p. m. to return, remaining at Biush V harf over night,

Thursday, will leave brush Wharf for Char- lottetown at seven a, m. calling at China Point and Halliday’s Wharves; leaving Charlottetown at three p, m. to return; leaving Brush Wharf about six p. mw. for Charlottetown.

Excursion return ticketa will be issued from

Charlottetown to Orwell every Thursday even-

ing, at one tirst-class fare. Also, excursion

return tickets will be issued every Saturday to Crapaud, at one first-class fare.
