Mr. Mellish was then called upon. He censured the Government fer putting the country to the unnec expense of an election. He showed to the meeting that the hir ing of an Attorney-General was un constitutional. He also spoke the debt of the province, and the barge’ amount of money that the Liberals have wrung from the farm ers of this coumtry.
