Larissa, April 17.—-Severe fighting has occurred at Macedonia between the Greek irreguiars and the Turkish forcee, with success and reverses on both sides.

Atuens, April 17.—A force of Greek insurgents is reported to have entered Eptrine, but this statement must be accepted with reserve.

Larissa, April 15.—Trustworthy re- ports received here Tuerdav confirm the statements that the Greek irregulars have captured Baltino, in Macedonia. The Turks lost forty men killed.

Lonpoyn, April 15.—A despatch to the Daily News from Constantinople says that the Turkish version of the fighting «at Baltino has been published in tue news- psper Ikdam, which states that 5,000 Greek troops were allowed to attack tne place. Their retreat was cut off und the Greeks were finally worsted, leaving 2,000 dead and dying upon the field. The [kdam adds: “Out of pure magnanimity the Turks took no prisioners.”

Y¢- terday the police made another visit to the same place ard captured six moustache cups and twelve saucers which they found there. From there they went to William Kilsworth’s house and there they found six more moustache cups and twelve saucers. Someofibe cups had the lips broken off so that they might be ured as ordinary cups. These they also confi-cat- ed. The cups and saucers were identified by Mr. Gro, Carter as having been stolen from his warebouse. Mr, Carter also identified the soap.
