ANSWER: It is not necessary to sand off any tightly adhering. smooth enamel coating. Sand off all loose or flaking rust and touch up these areas with a metal primer or rust - inhibi- ting paint. Sand entire surface of tile to dull the present gloss. for better adhesion of the new coating. and to remove all trace of grease. wax, grime, etc. Wipe off all dust and apply the mew coating. Be sure to use a top quality enamel or one of the new epoxy tile finishes. follow- ing manufacturer's label « in- structions carefully. The alumi- num paint will act as a good vapor - barrier for surfaces un- derneath. but in itself won't prevent paint chipping. Proper paint av-lication does that

A_ resolution passed unani- mously by the assembly's pro- gram and budget committee Wednesday said establishment of a world research centre pro- posed by Dr. Marcolino Candau. Brazilian director - general of the — Worid - Health~ Organization “requires further study and con- sideration.”

The resolution advocated more health research on na- tional and regional levels.

Another resolution approving the cancer research agency was adopted without dissent. The sponsors of the agency .are Brit- ain, France. Italy, the United States and West Germany.
