His record snows attacks on the United States “for planning world war III,” the International Labor Organization, the International Refugee Organiation, the “colo- nial powers,” British trade pol- icies, the “AinlgloaAmerican ma‘ jority in the UN” and “slave la- bor in colonies.”

But in 1948 he urged that com- munism and capitalism should work together for the recovery of Europe and said Russia was not opposed in principle to us. and for Europe.
