Kagy, Intel-gm. tional Secretary-Treasurer and one of the three founders of the Gyro Club, was the guest speaker as the l Charlottetown Gyro Club celebrated Founder's Day last night at The Charlottetown. It was a dinner meeting combined with ladies night and President Morton Dew presid- ed.

Representatives of other service clubs were present to join with the Gyros in ODFCFVIIIg the occasion The local club wgls formed I3 years ago.

Mr. Ksgy who, with two college friends, Messrs. Paul Schwan and Augustus Henderson. founded the Gyro Club. delireled an interesting address reviewing the progress oi the organization. He spoke 0i the fine work which has been carried on by the local club since it was started 13 years ago and mentioned that he was present when it was formed.

Tile International Secretary la- sued n challenge to the Gyros here to carry on with their friendship and service. Friendship leads to service, he told them. Not only Gyros but all service clubs should be interested in educating youth in the principles of democracy.

There are many organizations and each should exert its influence along the rigllt direction. This is the problem of every club as well as every citizen, he said.

Mr. Kagy visited here as part of a Maritime tour during which he will visit every Club. He came here yesterday from Sydney and will leave today for Halifax.
