They Had Met at Last.

Young George Stepheson.

His father was a fire- man, who earned twelve shillings a week,out of which there was a wife and six children to keep; his home was a poor cottage, with a clay floor and un- plastered walls. On Thursday there died at the place vf Gen. John 8. Berry, in Baltimore County,the bay horse “Sam,” sged nearly 40 years, Sam was foaled onjthe farm of Mr. 8. Davis, in Veriecst, on May 5. 1844.
