AUSTRIA.

The following is from the Times‘ Paris cor- res ndont's letter, dated Aug. 31.

'Ihe opinion that Austria shows at last une- quivocal signs of adhesion to the active policy of the allies appears to ain ground, not among the ublic at large, but in those quarters where the st information is supposed to be obtained.

The opinion is, as I expected, expressed in more than one of the Ministerial journals, and will probably be a . in insisted upon. It is evident, there is no esire on the art of the Government thata contarry feelings ould exist: but, as we hear as yet of no new. fact, no con- vincing proof, that Austria is on the point of chan in her neutrality into action, one can hardly eel more conﬁdent than before.
