An Iwposter.—A man calling bimself Anirew MeGillvray has been going about Halifax obtaining money from charitable people on the faith of representation that he had been byrnt out of house and home at the St. John fire, had his wife and sev~ eral smill children to support and no means, &c. Yesterday afternoon he was arrested by Policem:n Ing'ie, who had ascertained that his real namewas Mev Cleave, and that he was a native of a vil» lage near Chorlot .town, where he had been arrested for bezging under false pre- tenses some time ag .
