The Queen's County Liberal Convention yes- terday conﬁrmed the general impression and anticipation by voting for Mr. Lester Douglas, City, as their candidate in place of the late Mr. Peter Sinclair, M. P, The new candidate is well known throughout the county where he has been in close touch with the farmers as a produce dealer and has been a. prominent worker in the Liberal cause for many years. He is familiar with local problems, and is a ready speaker, though not professing to be an orator.
