A Boston despatch says: New England is being at the present time supplied with potatoes from England, Ireland and Scot- land, and even the potato growers of Bel- gium are sending a part of their products tu this city. These importations became noticeable in November last, when 312,142 barrels of potatoes, valued by the customs ofiicers at $65,231, were entered at this port. Of that number only 8,902 bushels came from Scotland, but in December that countvy sent 28,974 bushels valued at $13,704. The total number of bushels im- ported in December was 240,000, their total value being $76,813. Of that num- ber Belgium sent 2,864 bushels, valued at '$1,324; lreland, 5,278 bushels, valued at | $3,019, and England, 10,333 bushels, jvalued at $3,890. The remainder came \from the provinces.
