Treat the farmer as a gentleman and sportsmanufair and square— and you’ll increase your own hunting opportunities.

Never litter his land with the remnants from your noon lunch.

Always ask permission to hunt—you’ll be surprised how often he’ll make you feel far more at home,. and perhaps come up with some hints on where to hunt. ‘ . ’

Take special care of his fences—climb at the post and put your weight on the post, not the fence.

He won’t ask,‘ but he’ll be overjoyed if you were to present him with a bird or two. ‘

Check with him before parking in gateways or lanes; he may want to work that field .
