Charlies E. Nieville, Baronet, alias Sir Roger Arthur Tichborne, alias Charles Newbold, charged with bigamy, was resuined at Toledo, Onio,on the 27thinst. Miss Lillian Whitneny, the millionaire music publisher's daughter, of Detroit, who is one of ten wives Nievelle is alleged to have married, was in court, as was also. her father and mother. They excited some interest among the crowds who tlocked into the court. Nievelle was unconcerned ; he told the reporters he was certain to be cleared, and that he would develop some jn- teresting points before the closing of the case. The general opinion is that he isa crank, and that he will be convicted. Miss Whitney is the tenth woman married to Nievelle. _—_——>—— 4
