. SUMhll‘ZRSlDE~The commun- lty of {Vlalpeque lost, a highly re- spected and beloved citizen Sun- day evening when Leslie D. Mac- Nutt passed away at his home at the age of 78 years.

Mr. MacNult. who had been in failing health for several years, was formerly secretary—treasurer of the firm of Peter Machutt and Sons and later president of the Malpcque Trading Company until his retirement.

He also conducted extensive farming operations in Malpeque where he took an active interest in all community and church affairs. He was a member of the United Church.

He is survived by his wife the former Nina Russ, oct Sumner- side, three daughters, Constance, Mrs. Frank Beairsto. Charlotte- town: Adele. Mrs. R. S. Mac- Donald, Halifax; Edith, Mrs. Thomas Davies, Charlottetown and one son. Dogald, Malpeque.

The funeral will be held Wed- nesdary afternoon from the late home at 2:00 o‘clock.
