town hath, on account of the recent tires which have taken place in this City, and which are supposed to be the work of Incendiaries, expressed to me his apprehension of impendin danger from Incendiarism to this City, and his desire that a suit- able reward be offered for the detection and punishment of any person or persons who shall hereafter be guilty of any act or acts of lnccndiarism: I have thought lit, by and with the advice and consent of'Her Majesty’s Council, to proclaim, and I do hereby proclaim and offer a Reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons (not the actual party to the act) who will give such information and evidence as will lead to the dis- covery, apprehension and conviction et'any person or persons who shall hereafter be guilty of any actor acts ot'Incendiai-ism. [IEREAS a Commission, hearing date the 4th day of September inst, now last past, has been issued to us, under and by virtue of an Act passed in the 14th year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled ‘* An Act to regulate the laying out and altering oi Highways,” a; d an Act in amendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to estimate the damage or advantage that may accrue to those persons whofiare interested in the lands throughwhich a certain new Road is intended to pass, being the continuation of the Little llill Road,in Township No. 37,through Patrick O'llare’s and other farms towards Pisquid New Bridge, and from Clark's bridge to said new line of Road by avoiding Walker's hill. and from the southern end of Worthy’s Road along William MeCannell’s north boundary line to the said Little Ilill or 'l‘yholland Road, in Lot 37, aforesaid: Now we do hereby give Public Notice to all persons concerned that we willcommence the execution of the said commission, by attending at the house of Mr. Francis Murray, in [10337. on Saturday, the 12th day of October anb, at the hour of ll o’clock in the forenoon, and proceeding along the said intended line of new Road, will complete the said Commission according to law.
