LONDON (Reutcrsl- Three - D television made its world debut here Tuesday.

Reporters wore polarized glasses for the three-dimensional showing. They saw TV announcer Avis Scott enter a studio. The smoke from

her clgaret seemed to curl right out from the screen.

It will be some time before TV- in-depth is developed for home viewers. The government expects to be able to make use of it for atomic research.

The invention was unveiled Tues- day at a preview of the annual British radio exhibition in London by the Pye Company of Cambridge. "It is known that experiments on similar lines have been going on in the United States," a Pya official said. "But I believe they hava been secretive about them because of the value to atomic energy re- search."
