Alberlon Girl Graduates From Halifax Hospital

—Of interest to many relatives and friends in the Alberton dis- trict is the recent graduation of Miss Dorothy Bonyman from Grace Maternity Hospital school of nursing in Halifax. Miss Bony- man. daughter of Mr. and Mrs, J. R. Bonyman of Alberton, was the only Prince Edward Islander in A claim of 18. -

The graduation exercises wer held in First Baptist Church on April 3, with Col. R. I-Iarewood, chief sea-our-y for the Salvation Army in Cannon. presiding. Ool. Hu-ewood spoke with warm ap- proval of the work at Grace Hos- pital. It was s source of pride, he said. to all associated with the work of the Salvation Army and especially those linked with Grace Hospital, that the past year had seen 2,475 infants born within its walls, I peak year in its history. He also referred to the fact that there had been no maternal deaths in the year, and the fact that in the year 27 sets of twins and one set of triplets had been born there.

The graduation program opened with the hymn, "O Lord of Grac- ious Sympathy and Love". Prayer was oflsred by Rev_ Harry Renfree of Mulgrsvo Park Baptist Church and the scripture was read by Br. A profemionsl musician of long standing, Sergeant Ford was trumpet soloist with the Central Air Command band that has visited Summerside on several occasions.
