Murray Frank I-Iirtle. age 3), Of Malldlle Bay. N.S.. passed away after a lengthy illness at Mshone Bay on June 14th.

He was born at Mahone Ba , the son of Mr. and Mn. W1-1, , l-iirtle. He attended Acadia Univ- ersity from where he graduated with a B.A. degree. While at Ac- adia he was interested in sports and was a membe of the variety football team. He was past pres- ident of the local Canadian Leg- ion and also a Kiwanian. He was in business for short time and later travelled for Lewis Ltd. Truro. '

Cases Heard At Alberton

A party from Alberton received a suspended sentence of two years on a charge of theft under the Criminal Code.

A resident of St. Louis was fined 340.00 and costs under the Tem- perance Act for possession of liq- uor in a place other than a res- idence in which he rided.

Evidence was heard in the case of a party from Tlgnish charged with common assault under the Criminal Code and the case was adjourned until July 19th at Al berton.
