correspondence was read and members agreed to the suggested date of March 5th. for the visit at Handicraft Van to the district. Mrs. Robert Matheson kindly oi'- iui-ed, the use of her home for the classes. Two cards of thanks were rrad.

Aster I general discussion it. was decided that the Institute would sponsor a Wolf Cub Pack it it was possible to get one started. it was

also decided to contact New Hav- en W.I. on this matter. Algroup committee was formed comprising Mrs. Reg!Mackinnon, Mrs. Eric lilacPhail and Mrs. Arnold Beer. Neither the sick nor school com- mittees had anything of import- ance to report.

Next meeting will be held on Monday Feb. 27., instead of re- L',lII8I' night. Mrs. J. ii. Mat.-Phail and Mrs Eric MacPhail will be Joint hostesses at this meeting when roll call will be "What I would like to be if I were not my- self.”

An enjoyable "Pantry Shelf" con- test was sponsored by Mrs. Suther- land Cousins and was won by Mrs. Gordon Cousins.

The next meeting is to be held at the home of Mrs. Bruce Crozier. The meeting closed by singing the National Anthem. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess.

ROLLO BAY EAST W. I.

On January 4th.. 1956. eight mem- hers and one visitor gathered at the home of Mrs. Francis Deogle tor the purpose of conducting their regular monthly meeting. The pres- ident occupied the chair.

The meeting opened by the mem- bers repeating the Mary Stewart Collect. Roll call was answered by each member contributing 25 cents. Collection SL75. it was decided Secretary will write Eatons. Sim- psons, and Prowses requesting remants of cotton. It was decided to have a card-party Jan. lath. The members agreed to supply lunch for the card-game. -

Mrs. Edwin Peters invited the members to her home for next meeting. which is to be followed by a card-party. proceeds of which are to be used for school purposes. The roll call is to be answered by an exchange of Valentine's. A de- licious lunch was served by the hostess. assisted by Mrs. Harold MacEwen. The meeting then ad- lourned. A social hour followed.

GREENVALE W.I.

The regular meeting of the Greenvale W. I. was held at the home of the secretary on Feb. 14th. with the president presiding. Meet- Ing opened by singing "The Island Hymn" llowed by repeating the cniioct i Unison. Roll call was Answered by nine membe n and live visitors were present.

Kiinutes of last meeting were read and approved. It was decided to hold the InQI!l.Il"Iu5 party at the home of Mrs. John Carew on Feb. 29th. and if stonny on March list.

All committees gave their reports and two members thanked the members for fruit received. Cor- respondenc was read and institute news passed out. It was moved. seconded and carried that secret- ory purchase a new branch min- ute hook. Five dollars was voted for the P.E.I. March of Dimes. Mrs. Andrews put money in Birth- day Bow. Next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Walter Weeks. when roll call will be answered by "What men dislike most in Women."

The February meeting ,of the Augustine Cove W.I. met at the home of Mrs. Eric Robinsoif on Thursday evening the 2nd. with the president in the chair.

Meeting opened by singing the Institute Ode followed by repeating the creed in unison. Roll call was responded to by eleven members paying for their waist measure. One new member joined and one visitor was present.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Bills amount- ing to 314.07 were paid. A card

correspondence. It was moved by Mrs. Lorrie Carruthers and secon- ded by Mrs. Kenneth Cameron that we send 35.00 to the March of Dimes. It was decided to have I Valentine Party in the school base- ment on Monday the 13th. A com- mittee was appointed to plan the entertainment. .

The February meeting of the Alexandra W. I. was held at the home of Mrs. Harold Beaton with an attendance of 11 members. Meeting opened with Ode, follow- ed by Mary Stewart Collect. Roll call was responded to with a grab bag. Minutes of last meeting were read and adopted. Reports of committees were giv- en and unrespondence was read by secretary. It was moved and seconded that we have a cake sale the latter part of February. Next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Milton Wood. when roll call will be "A Housecleaning Hint" and lunch committee will be Mrs. John MacMlllan. Mrs. Glen- don Brehaut. and Mrs. Nicnoias Plaggenhoef. Collection amounted to 33.00. Meeting adjourned and lunch was served by hostess and committee in charge.
