Marian would like to wish all readers a happy 1990, and re- mind them of what major sport- ing event is coming up in Jan- uary (And it’s not the Superbowl]; that’s another story). Yeah, you guessed it.... Residence Life is putting on another one of their famed ski trips this Friday com- ing, the 19th, WEATHER PER- MITTING!!!' Even if you don’t live in residence, come on out to Brookvale this Friday for a fun af- ternoon on the slopes, and get the weekend off to a good start.

The Marian Hall Pit Bulls are busy gearing up for another spell of hockey thus far in the New Year. Hoping to stem a 3-game winless streak that ended Decem- ber for the Big Dogs, coach Don Won was expected to pull out the stops against the Goaiers; the re- sult was a decisive victory for the team.

In celebration of the victory, the two houses of Marian and Bernadine got together again for another one of their Truly Awe- some House Parties, this one with a New Year’s, 1960, theme. Res- idents rolled up the jeans, hauled on. the bobbi-sox, and _ slicked back the hair to groove to the tunes spun by Slink (Thanks for staying awake!) and Terry. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for in- formation on the next Truly Awe- some House Party at the Marian Hall back lounge.
