Lonpon, June 24—-The correspondent of the Daily News at The Hague describes the “great effort the Sultanis making to induce the Dutch UGovernment to sup- press the meetings of the Young Turkish porty.” He says :
“A meting was announced, at which the *peakers were to be Achmed Risa Beg, Amnegh, an Armenian, and Lewakoweky, an Au4triao~Pole. The Government sam- moned the speakers to prove their posses sion of financial resources, the absence of which would be the only ground upon which theirexpulsion could be decreed. This shabby trick failed, and the meeting was held, but it had an extraordinary re- sult.”
“Turkban Pasha, the first delegate of Tarkey, sent his secretary, Rechid Bey, to challenge the Young Turkish leader to aduel. Biza replied that they were both guests of a country where dueiling was ui- lawful, and that he would vot help the first Turkish delegate to commit a crime. Of course, the Sulian is behind all this, and his chief of police is coming here to look afier the Young Turks. “The German delegates are still without instructions on the arbitration question.”
