The Patriot editor must be ignorant of this fact, for he says, ‘We may inform our readers that the list is revised every year, so that those who, for any reason, cannot eater their names on the Voters Liet now, may do so before’ this time next year.” Sup- posing a general election takes place next} spring, what qualification can our Local Legislature give to enable the young men to vote? or ‘how can the correction of any ambiguity or defect in the existing laws’? prove that a man has paid his Poll Tax fora year previous to the registration of votes ?

Arrived at the grave, the Rev, fh FitzGerald, of St. Paul’s Episcopal Churehb, read toe beautiful service, followed by Fast Master Small in the deeply im pressive and solemn ceremony of Free and Accepted Masons.
