A Lirrte Girt Hero.—Myrtle and Lottie Lumry, aged 6 and four years rea- pectively, living at Platsville, Col., started a fire in the kitchen stove on Monday, using coal oil, The oil exploded, setting fire to both. They were so badly burned that death resulted. A baby, 10 months old, was rescued by Murtle, who snatched it from the floor while she herself was burn- ing and placed it between a feather bed and straw tick, smothering the flames and saving the infant's life.
