His Worship Mayor Morrison welcomed the lodge to Summer- aitie. and. on behalf of the town council. presented a gift to the grand mistress.

During the day solos were rendered by Mildred Pavntcrl and also by Joan MacPhall.

Before the evening session a .memorial service was conduclv ed in the Presbyterian Church by Rev Mr. Brown.

Again. as in other years. the tea was a most successful un- dertaking for the organization from both a financial and social standpoint.

For the occasion the hall was beautifully decorated around a "maypole" motif in spring snad- es of green and yellow. Also ad- ding to the spring-like appear- none were the many colorful spring hats wore by both those serving and the 'ladies who at- tended the tea
