Road Compensation PUBLIC NOTICE.

' IIEREAS a Commission has been issued, directed to us,

under and by virtue of an Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria. intituled “ An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways,” and of the Acts in amendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to estimate the damage or advantage that will accrue to the parties through whose land a new line of load is intended to ass, leading from the School House, on Black River Road, through John Flynn’s farm—along the southern boundary of James Dougan’: farm—and to the Mill- cove Road :

Now, we do hereby give public notice to all parties con- cerned, that we will commence the execution of the said Commission by attending on the said line of Road, at or near Patrick Bearney’s, on MONDAY, the 19th day of AUGUST next, at the hour of 10 o’clock, in the forenoon of the same day, and proceed in accordance with the terms of the Act 14th Vita, Cap. 1, and of the Acts in amendment thereof.

HEREAS a Writ has been issued, directed to the under-

signed, under and by virtue of an Act passed in the Fourteenth year of the reign of Her preSent Majesty Queen 'l'ictoria, intituled “ An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways,” and of the Acts in amendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to assess the damage or advantage that will accrue to those persons who are interested in the land through which a certain new road is intended to be made, commencing at the Main Shore Road, Kildare Capes, on the line between Geo. McRae's and William Clarke’s,and running Westward, and which road will run through or over the pro- perty of the said George McRae and William Clarke :

Now, we do hereby give public notice to all parties, that we will commence the execution of said Writ, on TUESDAY, the 20th day of AUGUST, at or near the House of Geo. Mcliae, Lot 2, at the hour of nine o’clock in the forenoon of the same day, and from thence we will proceed along the said intended new line of road and complete the inquest according to law.

Now, We do hereby give Public Notice to all persons concerned, that we will commence the cxection of the said Commission by at~ tending at the house ol'the said Patrick O'Hare, in Township Number 'I‘hirty-soven alorcsnid, on MONDAY, the 19th day of AUGUST next, at the hour of ten o’clock. in the forenoou of the said day, and proceed along the said intended new line of Road, and complete the said Commission according to law.

IIVIIE Trustees of the Lunatic Asylum are desirous of con. tracting for the supply of the Institution for six months. from the 1st of August, 1867, with the following articles, viz ;

Fresh BEEF, per lb. FLOUR, Island, per lb.

do American. per barrel, OATMEAL, per lb. 6 TONS Sydney Round COAL. 15 TONS Pictou Round. and 30 TONS Pictou Slack COAL.

The BEEF to consist of fore and bind quarters, which, with the other articles, are to be delivered at the Asylum, to order, when required.

Tenders for each, separately or together, will be received at the Asylum. or at the ofﬁce of Theophilus DesBrisay, Esqr., until WEDNESDAY, the 3Ist day of JULY, instant, at 12 o’clock, noon.
