It isa paper designed by and for musicians - whether they be UPEI Alumni students, professionals or amateurs. We plan on having as issue out every season and we welcome submissions from anyone - just drop them off at the Steele Bldg (Att. Annette Campbell) If you want to subscribe to our newsletter simply call 368-9765. One final note - The society has ordered T - shirts with its new logo as designed by Darren Tuck. 3. The Music Society has been busy planning events Annette Campbell Public Relations Officer and activities.

One of these events was the Music Society Pub, held on Thursday, Nov. 13. We had live entertainment featuring the Republic and Briefcase and everyone who went hada great time. We would like to thank all those who helped out with this event. Whether they made posters, passed out flyers, got door prizes, or ‘‘worked the door’’ and sold tickets for us, we appreciate their support.

A very important upcoming event is our annual Play - a - thon (Nov. 22-23). This year we are holding 12 hours of continuous music on stage in the Steele Recital Hall, (as opposed to the originally advertised 24 hours) and we plan to have a fabulous time doing SO.

The music starts Friday at 1:30 pm, doors open to the public at 3 pm, and we wrap it all up with a group
