Yesterday l spotted an editOr. Although nOt a rare species they are difficult to find. Some are only seen in the early hours of the morning.

This one was a Sun editor. basically there is little difference between one editor and the next. They

are usually stooped with droopy, blood-shot eyes. They do not take axtreme measures to keep themselved tidy and are often marked by a.disheﬁelled coat.

The only difference between a Sun editor and other members of this species is that the Sun editor inhabits Prince Edward Island. It is also rare to see a sleeping,

Sun editor.

For those of you who have editors, care must be

taken. They are hyper animals with an intense build- up of energy once a week. As this period comes around ( with a Sun editor it is Wednesday night ) he becomes more and more hyper. This is marked by constant motion, usually pacing, and an increase in ranting

and raving.rTher is also a tinge of deseperation in

his voice.

Of course this kind of behavior is not good. To calm your editor, simply take two ounces of vodka, add

four ounces of orange juice and stir. Grab your editor and while holding his nose pour this mixture down

his throat. Be careful.

If you use too much vodka,

you will have your own editor skin rug

The editor would like to thank his staff fOr curing him of his excessive energy on Wednesday night.

I would like to ’ express my thanks to all those students who were present at The SUN meeting Monday night. I am sorry I did't have more things available at that time for you to work on. You may have heard this be- fore, but next issue will be better. ,

The field worker for Canadian University Press (CUP) was by today and

straightened out many things that desperately needed straightening but. Thanks to him (his name is Ken Dodd by the way) our next meeting will be better organized. I would like however, anybody who wants to start writing immediately, to drOp by during office hours and I will be able to assign them a job. Larry‘Green ‘ Editor

At the weekly‘staffty

meeting of the newspaper staff Monday night, a new name for this newspaper was discussed. After little rebuttal, the new name chosen was the UPEI SUN.

As was reported

in last weekfs issue, the name change was

brought about by the

reputation fOr “smut and'.d

trash” The Cadre,the

former paper had obtained.

The editorial policy of the paper was also announced at the meeting. The UPEI SUN will no longer print anything deemed distasteful by the staff or the ed- itor. It was stressed .‘ that articles .which may effect people may still be published as long as it is done in a tasteful manner.
