At the sitting of the delegatio day, the report of the committe® on the foreign office budget was presented. The committee expressed a conviction that an Austro-Russian war was seoner or later inevitable. ‘The budget. was thereupon adopted.

The theatre at Gross Beeskerk was set on fire last night, by thé upsetting of a petroleum lamp, and the building partially destroyed. A panic prevailed among the audience and many persons were Injured.

A speech made by Herr Piener, a promi- nent member of the Reiehstag, at the sitting of the Austrian delegation at Pesth, to-day, has created a great sensation. His speech was along exhortation to the Gov- ernment to avoid aaything calculated to bring on a war. It is evident that Herr Plener possesses weighty information in regard to the relations of Austria vith Russia.
