The Cattie Trade.

Advices beth by mail and cable from Great Britain report the cattle market there very dull, good beeves having de- clined fully $10 per head. Advices dated Glasyow, 19th Jane, state that nafavorable weather existed, and that unless rain came shortly the turnip crop would be a miser- able failure. The pasture lands were short of grass for want of rain, which necessarily caused moré cattle to be thrown upon the market than there otherwise would have been. For the same reason the markets are fully supplied with sheep and lamb, ' which are lower.

Mr. W. A. Parrick writes to St. John papers relative to the report ef the discovery of a four foot vein of Albertite at Beliveau. His letter appears to be quite satisfactory.
