Mr. Arnold Wood of West Cape. while working in a field on his farm, sighted a beautiful doe and her fawn. last. Friday morning. The fawn was about half the size of its mother and covered with white spots. Mir. Wood says the animals seemed very much at home in his field of clover.

The wharf at Malpeque was the scene of much activity on Friday afternoon when over 30 children and their parents gathered for the swimming tests which concluded the two weeks' Red Cross swim- ming and Water Safety class con- ducted by Roger Clark of Char- lottetown.

Mrs. Frank MacNutt, Chairman of the Malpeque swimming and Water Safety Committee was

present at the tests and had made arrangements with the women's institutes in the following dia- lricts - for the traiisportailon of the children to Malpcque to part- icipate in these Classes- Dnrnley, Sea view. East Baltic and Hamil- ton. ,

The class at Maipeque was an outstandingly successful one as nearly every member of 'it passed the required tests for one award or another.
