The reception of Miss Fanny Parnell! was held last night in Albert Hall. She was given a great ovation on appearing on the er Mr. Thompson of the Toronte

The Assistant Inspector of Weights and Measures here has been arrested on a charge ef perjury. He gave bail and will anawer the charge on the 13th inst.
