Rainbow Club Annual Meeting Held Yesterday
The eighth annual meeting of the R:llnl)0W Club was held yesterday afternoon at Sunset Lodge with the president. Mrs. G.B. White- side, presiding. Following interest- ing reports an inspiring address uas given by Senior Major Mll- dred Stevens, lupEsllllClIdelll of Sunset Lodge.

YilscLesn. Plans were discussed for the Blossom Tea to be held in June at Sunset Lodge with Mrs. G. Bsllingall as convener. High- light of the meeting was the cut-
ting of the birthday cake by Mrs. Bessie Black, 91 years old. guest of the Lodge.

Western Presbytery Of Y.P.U. Meets
The second Lenten conference of the Western Presbytery of Young Peoples Unions was held in the Montrose United Church on Friday, March 29th, with after- noon and evening sessions. Theme of the conference was "Focus on l-iwentisls in the Life of Paul."
The afternoon session opened with worshi service by Elms- dale Y. P. . with hymn "The church's One Foundation" Scrip- iuro reading was the 17th chapter of Acts. Prsycr was offered by Rev. N. Rf Green. The hymn "The King of love My Shepherd ls" brought the worship service to s rinse.
The president then welcomed visiting clergy. also Mr. Ernest Murphy. Faith and Evangelism Convener for the Maritime confer- once and all memhe s of visiting tinion.
After reading of minutes by secretary those present were de- vlded into groups for the study of the following topics: The churches in Jeruslem. Judas. Samaria and Antioch which was led by Rev. Kean; Paul's Missionary Journeys which was led by Rev. Norman R. Green and Paul in Jerusalem. his arrest and journey to Rome which was led by Mr. Hudson Pridham. After the study periods

The evening session granted at 130 with s sing song i by Mr. Robert McAssey. Offering was received and dedicated. Members of Brae YP.U. than conducted the worship service which oszrned with hymn. "Jesus Calls Us" l titre Reading was front sets 1 : 22-20 and Acts 8:-it-ls s brief med- itation was then presented by girls. Hymn "Take My Life" brought the worship service to a close.
