Barlow - Boas Wedding

The marriage of Helen Myrtle Ross. eldest daughter of Mi-ii. Ross and the late Harry Ross of Albany. RE. 1., to Donald James Barlow. son of Mr. Robert and the late Mrs. Barlow of Breadnlbane. P. E. 1.. was iiolemniud at the home of the bride on the after- noon of June 21st at the hour of tour o'clock.

The ceremony took place be- renth a tastefully decorated arcll n the living room. amidst it pro- fusion of spring flowers, where t7 the strains of the Wedding March the bride was escorted by her cousin Gordon Ross of Charlotte- town, who gave her in marriage.

Rev. W. Burton Crowe was the officiating clergyman. and Mrs Crowe played the wedding music.

The bride. lovely ill her floor- lrngth grown of white satin. with r-et yoke. fitted bodice and full skirt, with three-quarter lellgtil veil of double illusion which fell from s pleated coronet. carried :l bouquet of red roses, and wore ii single strand of pearls. she was attended by Miss Ruth Irving of Charlottetown, in a floor-length gown of pale blue taffeta. with picture hat, and bouquet of pink camatlolls.

Winsome Hazel Ross was her sister's flower girl. gnu-lied in pmk nylon and carrying a small basket of flowers.

For her daughter": wedding Mrs Rom wore grey crepe, with cor- sage of yellow roses.

Mr. Clarence Ross. brother oi the bride was groomsman.

Following the ceremony a buf- fet luncheon was served to up- wards of forty guests. The bride's table. attractively laid in linen and hand crochet. held the two mree-tiered wedding cakes. These were cut. in the traditional man- ner and served to the guests.

The serving was under the sup- ervision of Mrs. spurgeon Clars and Miss Dorothy Taylor. assisted by Miss Evelyn Robertson. Mrs. Harold Fay and the Misses Lera and Marion Ross.

Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Barlow left on a trip to points in the Mnritimee, the bride traveling in torquoise blue dress.:, beige coat, with white and blue necessaries.

Previous in her marriage a shower wne given at her home r.-llere many nice gifts were oil display. among them being a. tri- light lamp from Hyndman and Co.. where the bride was employ- ed for several years.

Later a post-nuptial shower v.'a.s held in Breadalbane in honor of the young couple, and gifts of money and various useful articles for the home were received.

Mr. and Mrs. Barlow have tak- en up residence in Brendalbane. x-here the best wishes of their friends follow them for continued happiness.
