Death of Well Known Citizen of Montague

Louis Austin MacDonald. one of VMontague's most respected citi- zens. tiled in the Charlottetown Hospital Friday morning after several mouths' illness.

A son of the late Lieutenant- Governor Austin C. MacDonald andoMrs. MacDonald, he was born in Montague 76 years ago. At an early age heioined the North- west Mounted Polico. but he re- turned to Montague in l9l5. where he took up pus . ”

Shortly after his return from Western Canada, he i a bak- ery business in Montague. which be operated up until about ten years ago. He was educated at Montague public school and St. Francis Xavier University at Anti- gonish. N. S. , T

He was married to the former Annie Merry of Charlottetown who pi deceased him five years ago.
