Mayor Gives Resignation

The mayor has been on a leave of absence from the first of June His letter stated that he had hoped to be able to returns to office after a month but naw found it necessary to tender his resignation

Acting Mayor Key expressea his surprise as he had expected the mayor back bythe first of September He said that he dis liked having to ask for a motion to accept the resignation but he knew that It was what the miay- or wanted and needed
