In the past few days,the Cadre staff has been recei— ving a lot of feedback on last week's issue,much of it favorable. There was lots of stuff to read we were told.

Well, we aim to please, but it will be difficult to_ maintain the level of qual- ity of last week's Cadre with the samll number of people presently working on the paper. Only a handful of people get involved in the weekly production of teh Cadre,and it is imposs— ible for us to provide op— timum news coverage of cam- pus events with the present size of the staff.

We feel the Cadre can serve a very useful function on this campus, but to even approach its potential, more people are needed.‘ w Experience is not a re- quirement ~ you gain exp— erience when you work on the Cadre. Most of the pre— sent staff had no experience whatever when they joined the' staff, but have picked up a lot since they joined. Staff meetings are held weekly on Sundays at 4pm in the Cadre office. Why not make an effort to make it to the next Cadre meet- ing, and help it to be the paper it can be?
