Dear Editor,

I ama regular patron at “The Panther Lounge” and lately I have noticed that certain nights during the week, the bartenders decide to close the lounge early. For instance, on November 28, 1989 the bartender on duty, (I

‘will not mention any names),

called “last call” at 11:45, and closed down at midnight. now I was under the impression that the lounge was to be open to 1:00 A.M. I could understand

‘the bartender’s reasoning if there

were no patrons there but on this particular occassion there were roughly 10-15 customers.

This is not the first occassion in which this happened, I can re- call 2 or 3 other occassions.

I would really appreciate you printing this letter as I would se- riously like to receive feedback from the employees as to the reasoning behind the “early clo- sures”.
