The occurrence of a large snow white pigeon or dove in Georgetown this May aroused some curiosity. The bird was 15 to 20% larger than a Rock Dove and had the following features: pink legs, yellow to pink bill with the upper bill being slightly larger, faint yellow ring in eye with black eye. John de Lorey reported it was present for two months. Anyone knowing pigeons and doves and capable of identifying this species should contact John or the Newsletter Editor.
