Walk Across Island Against Family Violence to Host Special Evening at U.P.E.I.

A group of concerned Islanders are walking from North Cape to East Point to raise awareness of family violence and Turning Point Group, an organization that counsels men who have been physically or mentally abusive with their partners. The walk began on September 22nd at North Cape and will be arriving at the Barn on campus this Tuesday, September 29th at about 2:30PM. Students, faculty, and staff of U.P.E.I. are encouraged to join the walkers for the final portion of that day’s walk to Province House.
