COMPANY,
The theatre goers of this city are prom- ised a treat during the entire coming werk in the visit of the Sawtelle Dramatic Co.. who will open a weeks engagement Mon- day evening, in the four act drama “Fozg’s Ferry,” and will produce a different bill at each performance during their stay which includes matinees on W<doesday, Thars- day, Friday aud Satarday afternoons. In addition to the Dramatic Co., Mr. Saw- telle carries one of the finest Orchestras travelling, which will furnish a _— fine musical programme.
The Company is provided with ample special scenery. They carry their own scenepainter, and with fine co-1umes ap- propriate for allof their productions.

A bumper house greeted the Sawtelle Dramatic Company at the opera house lavt night, aod in the presentation of “Our Angel,” a four act comedy drama, com- bined with the specialties and music, the company established itself in popular favor with opera goers. The street music furnished by the company’s band is away above the average, while the musical selections during the performance by Saw- telle’s Imperia) Orchestra, was the gem of the evening. Inthe rendition of the following programme under the direction of Prof. Gec. H. Miller, the orchestra proved itself to be ahead of anything of the kind ever at the Moncton opera house.
The different characters were very weli sustained while the specialties introduced by Little, Juce, Miss Blair and Megers. Kelly and Had<on, were warmly encored. Mr. Kelty made a hit with “,he gods”and was recalled many times. r
